Negative thinking can manifest in harmful self-talk or viewing yourself disapprovingly. You may do this without being aware of it. One of the biggest forms is self-deprecating humour that invites others to laugh at your expense. You may apologise constantly, which lowers your energy. It may even be that you’re ashamed of your presence in certain situations. You might be addicted to negative situations or regularly participate in gossip.
Be honest as you reflect on where you may be taking on negative energy. Decide to make changes for the better through this month of May. If you find you are overthinking something, find a distraction to help you move forward. Music is a wonderful way to quiet your mind.
We are conditioned to believe that we need to say things in order to please others. Speaking from the heart is not only about speaking your truth, but also about empowering your words with love and compassion. When you speak openly and honestly your words carry strength and deeper meaning. When you allow others to do the same, you are honouring and empowering them. There may be times when you need to adjust your words in order not to hurt another’s feelings, but always try to be truthful and kind.
Speaking from the heart allows you to openly share with others your true beliefs, feelings, hopes and joys as well as the struggles. By doing so, you will be able to draw friends and family closer to you, sharing and acknowledging each other’s authentic selves.

Accept all the blessings about to come your way and realise that they are the result of love, courage, dedication and commitment you have shown in the recent past. Give thanks to Mother Nature and enjoy!

There are times when we are all called upon to be extra strong; to stand sturdy and steadfast - physically, emotionally and mentally. However, this is not a state one can maintain continuously. At times others may see your strength as an icy exterior, but as long as you balance strength with compassion and understanding, life will support you at these times.
Being strong doesn’t mean being strong for your self, but also being strong for others when they are struggling. When being the rock in another person’s life, be so with complete compassion for their situation, playing a more supportive role rather than an instructive one. When you are in a situation where you feel you lack the strength to pull through your own challenges, never forget that your Angels will be there for you, providing the strength you need.
